Cancellation Policy
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you, including travel time. As such, last minute cancellations of appointments will be subject to the following terms and conditions.
Cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to an appointment will be subject to a $50 rebooking fee. Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to an appointment will be processed without charge.
Cancellations or reduction in numbers made 24 hours or less prior to an appointment will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee per horse.
Cancellations made on the day of treatment may be subject to the full consultation charge.
Instances where we are not advised of reduced numbers, our practitioner is unable to gain access to the property, is turned away, or the client is unavailable (no-show) last minute, the client will be subject to the full consultation charge.
If Equine Biomechanics cancels an appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a new appointment will be scheduled with no cost to the client, subject to availability.
To avoid cancellation fees, please provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your booking.

Terms of Payment
Payment is strictly on the day, unless by prior arrangement.

All consultations are $150 per booking plus travel.*
*For 3 or more return clients in the same location, a discount of $25 per horse is offered (total consultation charge of $125 per horse).
**All initial consultations are $150 regardless of how many horses there are, as initial consultations take longer (1hr) as a full assessment of the new horse is required.

***A $5 Admin fee will be added to new clients initial booking only.

Payment can be made via cash, or bank transfer (invoice provided via email).

LATE PAYMENT FEE:
A late payment fee of $10 will be charged to each invoice after 4 days on non payment.
An ongoing fee of $5 will then be charged for each following day of non payment.

If you misplace your invoice, please contact us via text on 0424 077 094 and we will resend.
Travel Costs
Richmond Valley/Ballina Shires - $15 per booking

Clarence Valley/Lismore Shires - $20 per booking
​
Byron/Tweed Shires - $25 per booking

Photos
Clients may take their own photos during the consultation. We kindly ask that you advise the practitioner prior to taking any photos as a general courtesy.

Taking videos during a consultation is strictly not permitted, unless by prior approval with the practitioner.
​
Please note that our practitioner will take photos during your consultation, for research, education and demonstrative purposes. When making a booking with us, you are agreeing to allow us to take and use these photos for these purposes. Copies of photos taken will be provided to owners as part of the consultation and are a useful tool for monitoring the progress of your horse.
